Simone Thomas, PCC, CPCC, MBA is a Leadership & Career Coach at S&P Global where she helps people to discover their potential and see the possibilities in their life and career through corporate coaching.  

Prior to this role, she led executive communications and engagement, spearheading key global initiatives, including COVID-19, return to office, mergers and acquisitions, anti-racism awareness, and more. Before joining S&P Global, Simone held positions of increasing responsibility in marketing, sales, customer experience, and internal communications at Verizon. 

A Bronx native, Simone has lived and worked in Massachusetts, Spain, New York, New Jersey, Texas, and currently resides in North Carolina. She holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Boston University, and an MBA, with a dual concentration in Marketing and Communications & Media Management, from Fordham University Graduate School of Business. She has completed Co-Active Training Institute training and certification programs, respected worldwide as the gold standard of coaching.  

Passionate about giving back, Simone has served as a Mentor Coach with America Needs You in New Jersey. She currently serves on the boards of the International Coaching Federation - Raleigh Area Chapter and StepUp Durham.
