About the Guest: Tara Robertson brings nearly 15 years of experience in connecting DEI strategy across the employee lifecycle through to core business services and products using inclusive design methodologies. Her years of experience led to massive change in open-source technology communities, including three years leading diversity and inclusion at Mozilla. She is skilled at meeting leaders where they are and supporting them in making measurable and lasting improvements. She is mixed-race and queer and knows that people live intersectional lives, not simply linear ones. Tara has firsthand experience navigating systems that were not designed for people like her. Along with her work experience and education, Tara tapped into these experiences to co-design employee experiences to help people feel like they belong and can do their best work. Tara’s pandemic hobbies include the daily New York Times daily mini crossword, too many hours playing Fortnite, and biking fast nowhere on her Peloton bike.
