I've been developing people and organizations for over 20 years, and I'm passionate about making work more meaningful for all. As a leadership and career coach and the founder of Deeper Work, I partner with people-focused leaders to increase their impact through meaningful, identity-conscious leadership development and coaching. 

I previously served as Senior Director, Inclusion & Development, at AppFolio, where I built and led both Learning & Development and DEI. Before this, I led global employee and executive communications for the GoTo division of Citrix. I began my career in the healthcare industry, at companies such as DaVita, the American Heart Association, Prometheus Laboratories, and The Zitter Group.

I completed my coach training through Coach U and am currently pursuing my PCC credential. I hold a BA in Communication from UC Santa Barbara and an MA in Organizational Psychology from William James College, where my thesis focused on exploring workplace spirituality within organizations. I've also completed multiple graduate certificates in Depth Psychology through Pacifica Graduate Institute.

As an out gay man, I am a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community. I also recognize the unearned power and privilege I hold as a cisgender white man, and am committed to being an active ally for BIPOC folks and people from all marginalized and underrepresented communities. I live in Santa Barbara, on the traditional territory of the Barbareño Chumash.
