Dr. Lockhart-Jones brings over 25 years of experience in leadership coaching and training, team and group facilitation, project and program management, entrepreneurship, and talent assessments. She has a strong passion for and a professional mission of elevating talent to achieve results, excellence, and purpose. Since 2004, Dr. Lockhart-Jones has been at the helm of Project Partners Consulting Inc. as Founder and President. In this capacity, she has serviced clients across multiple industries and across the globe to design, develop and deliver impactful talent and organizational development solutions. She has led project planning sessions for the aerospace industry, delivered training and coaching in project management to healthcare managers, business leaders, and clinicians, delivered leadership coaching to emerging leaders at high-tech firms, and led several organizational change initiatives for a government agency and high technology organizations, and trained thousands of leaders around the globe.

Current Role

D. Lockhart-Jones is the Chief Learning Leader and Executive Coach for Project Partners Consulting, Inc. She works with clients to deliver virtual and in-person programs, executive coaching, and customized learning solutions. Her particular interests are leadership, influence skills, managing upward, building effective teams, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and, partnering with leaders in their transformation from boss to “coach”.  Dr. Lockhart-Jones services both for-profit and non-profit organizations.

Educational Background

Janet earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business from San Francisco State University, her Master of Science degree in Human Resources Management from Golden Gate University, and her Doctorate in Organization and Leadership from The University of San Francisco. Janet also holds the distinction of Stanford Certified Project Manager from The Stanford University College of Professional Studies. She is a Certified ICF Professional Level Coach (PCC), she is a Certified DISC Consultant, and a Certified Consultant in Emotional Intelligence. Lastly, Dr. Lockhart-Jones is a Licensed Professional Consultant for the Insights® Discovery Assessment.

Janet has presented at many industry forums including the Training Industry Conference and Exhibition (TICE), Association for Talent Development (ATD), and the Annual U.S. Postal Forum. She currently is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), the Organizational Development Network (ODN), Toastmasters International, and a proud member of the BIPOC Coach Collective.
